The 36-year-old forward, who previously spent the 2023–24 season with the French club, returns after parting ways with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah earlier this month. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Aubameyang’s return is not just about unfinished business; it’s also about forming new partnerships. He is particularly excited to play alongside Greenwood, especially after the English forward enjoyed a sensational 2024–25 season, finishing as Ligue 1’s joint top scorer with 21 goals and sharing the honour with Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele.

  • WHAT AUBAMEYANG SAID

Speaking about Greenwood, Aubameyang was full of praise: "He's the star boy! He's very strong, very good. I really liked his season and now he's working even harder than last season.
